Reports are coming in from different places all over the country about the month of May being really weak on occupancy and overall business. Information is coming from hotels, inbound Costa Rica travel agencies, transport providers and tour operators alike.
This all comes as a surprise given the first quarter of 2019 was quite strong for most, including ICT reports on airline arrivals.
Possible explanations include an imminently predicted looming travel recession in the United States.
